David Pelchat joined the PSB BOISJOLI team as a student in 1998. In 2005 he earned his Chartered Accountant designation and became our Audits and Assurance Manager, and in 2013 he made partner.

David has advised clients from a wide variety of business sectors. His substantial client portfolio includes SMEs and mid-market private companies operating in commercial and residential real estate, construction, transportation, food, retail, manufacturing, distribution, and investment.

David possesses a wide array of expertise, and is particularly skilled at developing tax strategies to minimize his clients’ tax burden and maximize their wealth. His clients agree that he has a marked talent for implementing successful business strategies that help them to maximise growth and achieve their organisational and financial objectives.

David is a recognised professional who is regularly invited to speak before diverse financial and insurance institutions who seek him out for his expert advice on taxation and trust matters and accounting standards. He was recently quoted by the Montreal Gazette’s “Let’s Talk Money” column on the topic of alter ego trusts.
